Jennifer Zoltners Sherer is a Research Associate at the University of Pittsburgh’s Learning Research & Development Center (LRDC). Her work provides evidence-based support for network leaders as they design, initiate, and develop networks that improve outcomes for minoritized students. She also serves as a hub leader for the STEM PUSH improvement network. Her research interests focus on distributed leadership, organizational change, and improving teaching and learning in K-12 systems through tool design and implementation, professional learning, reform initiatives, and curriculum. She believes that improvement networks are a powerful mechanism for educators and researchers to change inequitable systems and build more equitable outcomes for minoritized students. She received her PhD in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University, an MAT from Lewis & Clark College, and a BA from Wesleyan University.
